Course Details

The certified GKYS Instructor program is a quality intensive training program for experienced martial artists who are serious about expanding their knowledge of the Martial Arts.

Length of program depends upon your current level and ability. At a minimum, applicants must join one instructor training seminar.

There are two regular GKYS Instructor seminars every year.

All applicants need to visit Gongkwon Yusul USA for the seminars because USA is the only place to offer the certified instructor program in the US. An exception can be made if there are over 3 applicants in your area. In this case it may be possible to arrange for a special instructor seminar at your location.

 Course Package & Services:

  • Only instructor seminar participants will receive a new GKYS training manual 2022
  • Complete contents of the Instructor Course.
  • Official high quality black training uniform (Dobok).
  • Official black belt embroidered with your name in two languages (after sucessful completion of exams).
  • Instructional DVD from Gongkwon Yusul founder, Grandmaster Jun Kang.
  • Seminar documents (terms, theoretical principles, international and USA Gongkwon Yusul regulations, etc.)
  • Exam fees for 1st Dan Black Belt (includes written, oral and practical exam).
  • Official 1st grade black belt certificate from Korea certified by the International Gongkwon Yusul Association.
  • Official instructor license from Korea certificated by the International Gongkwon Yusul Association.
  • Online & Offline Technical support from Gongkwon Yusul Georgia USA.

Fees:

  • The cost of the certified instructor course (2022) includes the fees of the GKYS instructor training course.
  • FREE for GKYS instructors who received GKYS instructor certification from Gongkwon Yusul USA 
  • Reservation Only. No applications accepted on the day of the seminar

Instructor Course Application Form

  1. Register your new GKYS account When creating your account.
  2. Applicants must submit a copy of Black Belt Certification (or Career Document) by e-mail before the 1st seminar day.

Apply to Certified Instructor Course & Register for your 1st Training seminar if your application is approved.

Attend your first Certified Instructor Course Seminar (you will receive your official GKYS Uniform and DVD when you join your 1st seminar)

Train Gongkwon Yusul with the 1st DVD provided at the seminar from Grandmaster Jun Kang.

Join your 2nd and 3rd Training Seminars & apply for and pass the test. (The online training & testing program may be used instead of your 2nd training seminar if you complete your 1st seminar curriculum)

STEP 5

Become a Certified Gongkwon Yusul Instructor & Receive support from Gongkwon Yusul USA.
